Love London Card!

Love London Card!

I managed to bag myself a Love London Card last week on a whim, through word-of-mouth! The Love London card is available for people living in London and gives you unlimited access to the viewing platform of The Shard for just £20.16. A normal adult ticket is just over £25 and so a saving is made just on the first visit. I've always wanted to enjoy the view of London from the top of The Shard however, I had just never got the chance to. This card is perfect for us Londoners as the weather really is ever-changing and so it's great that I can come back at different times of the day, and in the different seasons. Of course, on the day I purchased it, I had to go up to the viewing platform, and I wasn't disappointed! The weather wasn't the best; it was extremely gloomy and dark but never-the-less it most definitely was special. Two floors are available...

I am at the Saatchi Gallery

I am at the Saatchi Gallery

I've had my eye on the Saatchi Gallery for a while, but I had never visited as usually galleries/ museums close at 6pm. After a long day looking at cells through a microscope, the last thing I want to do is look at ANYTHING else. Last weekend, I went to a photographers meet-up at the Atlas Gallery in Marylebone. There was an piece in the Time Out magazine advertising the 'Fashion Show' exhibition that highlights fashion photography over the past six decades. When I arrived, I was slightly taken aback by how small the Atlas Gallery was - the words Fashion Show suggested an actual show. It seemed a bit like an open-house gallery as the paintings were for listed and for sale. As I didn't want to return home after 30 mins out, I remembered that the Saatchi Gallery is not too far away from the Atlas Gallery. The Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea is different to any others that I had been to...

A Top 10 Pebble Beach – Brighton

A Top 10 Pebble Beach – Brighton

Voted one of the Top 10 pebble beach destinations in the world, Brighton Beach is an hour away from London by Southern Rail. I happened to visit the University of Sussex (Falmer Station, 5 mins from Brighton City) and on my return, decided to walk across the pier and the coast of Brighton Beach. I had previously visited Southend-On-Sea however, I had never been to Brighton and so I was excited as soon as I figured that I would be going there. For us Londoners, the hustle and bustle of the city can sometimes get overwhelming and so it is nice to escape to the seaside at any opportunity and appreciate the peacefulness and natural air that the sea can offer. Of course, it is not possible to go to the seaside without grabbing a bag of fish and chips. I came across this restaurant as I was walking towards the Pier from the station. There are such a huge selection of...
