£ -- 8/10 I recently decided to venture West for a weekend exploration of Portobello Road/Notting Hill. Notting Hill is one of my favourite areas in London. The charm of Portobello Road lined with vintage stores and street food pleases everyone who passes through. I find that Notting Hill is always extremely busy with tourists and locals alike, overflowing with people desperate for that perfect instagram photo featuring the colourful houses. I, too, am guilty of this crime. I walked down Portobello Road starting from Notting Hill station, past Farm Girl café, also one of my loved brunch spots. I passed the vintage stores and the outdoor summer market. At the end of Portobello Road, I came across Makan Restaurant, a Malaysian joint serving traditional street-food in a 'no-frills' cafe. Top 7 Brunch Spots In London

Brunching should be a new national sport, or maybe it's just a London thing? Gone are the days of celebrating a birthday or graduation over dinner, instead us millennials are opting for the late morning, early afternoon amalgamation of breakfast and lunch - brunch. Brunch isn't eaten at 8am, nor is it eaten at 4pm; it is more of a 11-1pm meal (although I have seen some restaurants with a brunch menu up to 4pm - shame on you). I must admit, I have entertained a fair number of brunch invites, and although sceptical at first, I now prefer to eat out for brunch over any other meal.
