Recently, many people have asked me how I planned my 4 cities in 4 days trip around Northern Italy. I used to be the kind of person who travelled to one city and spent the whole trip in the one city - but lately, my holidays are rarely limited to one city. Thing is, some cities/towns really don't need more than one day to explore completely, and would be a wasted trip if one stayed there for a number of days. Voted one of the Top 10 pebble beach destinations in the world, Brighton Beach is an hour away from London by Southern Rail. I happened to visit the University of Sussex (Falmer Station, 5 mins from Brighton City) and on my return, decided to walk across the pier and the coast of Brighton Beach. I had previously visited Southend-On-Sea however, I had never been to Brighton and so I was excited as soon as I figured that I would be going there. For us Londoners, the hustle and bustle of the city can sometimes get overwhelming and so it is nice to escape to the seaside at any opportunity and appreciate the peacefulness and natural air that the sea can offer.
