£ -- 8/10 I recently decided to venture West for a weekend exploration of Portobello Road/Notting Hill. Notting Hill is one of my favourite areas in London. The charm of Portobello Road lined with vintage stores and street food pleases everyone who passes through. I find that Notting Hill is always extremely busy with tourists and locals alike, overflowing with people desperate for that perfect instagram photo featuring the colourful houses. I, too, am guilty of this crime. I walked down Portobello Road starting from Notting Hill station, past Farm Girl café, also one of my loved brunch spots. I passed the vintage stores and the outdoor summer market. At the end of Portobello Road, I came across Makan Restaurant, a Malaysian joint serving traditional street-food in a 'no-frills' cafe.
